Advantage Urinal Systems

If, like me, you are up and down to the bathroom all night, this will be a great help. Simply sleep on your side with the urinal in place. When the urge starts to wake you up, simply let fly, then tip the urinal up to drain into the bed bag, place yourself inside again, and doze off without ever being fully awake.

I stumbled on this product while looking for male urinals that might be different from the conventional ones. What a great find! Thank you!

Outstanding product. I originally bought because I’m having extensive foot surgery and walking will be super difficult let alone getting up 2-3 times during the night to use the bathroom. In giving this a trial run to make sure I get the routine down before my surgery, I’m finding I LOVE this darn thing. I may use this forever! Getting up in the middle of the night is a pain in the butt, but with this device, all I have to do is open one eye cross eyed and find the opening and aim….that’s it. My BIGGEST worry now is falling back to sleep before I finish, it’s that comfortable to use in my bed. Just hang the urinal on something close to the bed so it’s easy to grab, amazing product. The holding bag is quality, large and has a brilliant apparatus that prevents fluid from going back into the line. Very easy to clean to.

In wanting to keep this unit as discreet as possible while family takes care of me, I bought the complete unit with the very comfortable ring and the privacy bag. It fits perfect under my bed and my sofa where I will be spending lots of time for awhile. For super ease of use when my family’s not with me I bought a small, cheap oil drain pan from O’Reilly’s for $3 just to lay the unit in, fits perfect, now I don’t have to package it and zip…..just slide it under the bed, it’s that easy. You have many options, get creative ! Obviously I love it!

If your thinking of this for yourself or someone you are caring for, don’t hesitate, it’s a great invention.

Now my surgery is in a couple weeks so hopefully I got the whole routine down to work smoothly but if anyone wants an update just let me know.

This product is awesome. I purchased it through Amazon for a cross country trip with some camping . I am an older guy and sometimes need to pee, like right now. I decided to practice using before heading out on my trip and to my surprise have had the most restful sleep in many years . I had some questions about the product and called the manufacturer of the product. The owner of the Company, Larry was so helpful. I am sure that the product won’t last forever, and I will be buying this for many years.

My husband had a stroke and lost the use of the left side of his body. He was going to the bathroom every hour and I was not able to get much sleep at night. We looked around and saw this and thought we would give it a try. He was able to hold it himself and the bag held the urine all night (with no odor) and with plenty of room to spare. He has been using it for over a month now with no complaints.

The item works good for my father who had a prostatectomy, especially that he doesn’t feel comfortable wearing diapers. So it is a very helpful thing to be used at night time.

This product was purchased for a female patient who had an “Indiana Augmentation”. As her caretaker I was having a very difficult time keeping urine off her body during the night. with this Urinal System in place next to her on the bed she was clean and dry all night. This is the perfect solution for females who have had their bladders rebuilt to relieve themselves from the abdomen. it is also very easy to clean.

It arrived way before I thought it would and it is great. it exceeds my expectations.

Beyond what the other reviewers have said about having a drainage bag the design of the urinal is GREAT! Why they don’t all come with a rounded bottom for ease of use is beyond me. Well done Advantage!

My only complaint is I wish they made this design without the bag for daytime use. I am also VERY WORRIED that we’ll be caught with our pants down, (pun intended!) it will rip, break, tear, or otherwise be unusable and we won’t have a back-up. I’m going to order at least two more after I post this.

I had to track down this review to amend my previous review. I still wish we had the plastic part only for day time hours when I empty it after every usage. It is truly the BEST DESIGN so my patient and I can’t stand using any other urinal.

Product was as described, both an innovative and thoughtful design. I had looked all over to find a better alternative to the usual products available to address the need. Seller delivered as promised.

It seems like some form of linguistic twist to use the adjective ‘Beautiful’ while discussing a urinal, but that’s what fits. Previous reviews describing advantages and benefits do an excellent job of explaining things so I’ll not waste your time reading a re-write of them, except to say they should be reviewed.

This item comes with two different style bottles, one has a closing cap, the other does not, so be careful to choose which one you order. If you’re coming from using a bottle as I was, you will probably be more comfortable with the version that has a lid.

Wish I would have come across this over a year ago when prostate problems became serious enough to interfere with sleep. Forced trips to bathroom hourly can get real hard on sleep pattern. Started using a snap cap bottle after being hospitalized briefly for other reasons not including an extreme back sprain that required morphine for relief, near total immobility, not jumping out of bed to go anywhere. If your using a bottle now, I think you will really appreciate this.

When purchased, the delivery was estimated to take two weeks, however this item arrived IMMEDIATELY. (within 2 days). I was actually shocked. Yeah!! And, this was a greatly needed item for my visiting grandma, so I was praying it would arrive before she left town. So, when it arrived immediately (at no extra cost) I was completely surprised.

Awesome product. I just came off a rough pregnancy. My bed rest days were made much easier with this urinal. I was able to stay in bed at night without worrying about waddling to the bathroom every hour. The seal was very comfortable during use and it only needed to be emptied once a day. It arrived before the date that was initially indicated (Nov 8th). Great shipping. I work at a home health agency and one of our patients recommended this for another of our patients, so we bought one for him. The family thinks it’s wonderful and appreciate it. My dad frequently needs to urinate at night, like many elderly men. It became worse after he fell at the beginning of the year. Every time he urinates, someone has to get up and empty the urinal. My mom, my brother and the housekeeper each took turns to take care of him in the evenings. They had to get up every half hour, sometimes even more frequently, to empty the urinal. They were all exhausted; my dad felt bad and frustrated, too.

I looked through the entire array of urinals on Amazon for one that could be used to help with the situation, and I was so happy when I found this one, the ONLY ONE that is designed to store large amount urine without spilling or smelling. It also has a soft padding at the opening that makes it a lot more comfortable. This is now my dad’s favorite urinal. In fact, he now only ever uses this one.

No one has to get up any more in the evenings to empty urinals. My whole family is very thankful to this brilliant invention. They couldn’t find it anywhere else. I bought extras for my dad in case the one he is currently using breaks. My brother joked and said that he would steal one from my dad and save it for
himself.

My family also brings the urinal system along with them whenever they take my dad out on a road trip. This saves them the trouble of looking for public bathrooms, which can be difficult in many places.

The vender was very responsive to my questions. Larry emailed back promptly with all the helpful information about the urinal system. He also welcomed phone calls for any questions or helps needed for the product.

I cannot imagine how my family could survive daily life without this urinal system. I was so worried that everyone will get too tired and fall ill. This is a good product. Decent quality. It’s convenient and holds a large volume. Definitely recommend it for bedridden patients.

Very impressed with how quickly this product arrived. I always look for that from companies that sell medical products. Works well, is lightweight and durable, even the tubing. Would recommend this product. (Company also included a small bag of candy – a nice customer service touch!)

Manufacture recommends replacing every month or so. If you treat it well you can get long life out of this.

While I am not Physically limited, I appreciate that it makes getting up to pee unnecessary. I can sleep with it between my thighs and not feel uncomfortable from it pushing into my body.

Like the large bag that hangs on the foot of my bed. it holds my nightly output with extra capacity to spare.

It works good in a chair as well. Great for long trips where a restroom may not be available.
